How Recycled PET Fabric is Made
RC Textile pull out all the stops to do environmental protection. Energy conservation, recycle and reuse, do our part for the only earth we depend on for survival.
RC Textile is committed to the research and development of environmentally Eco-Textiles. The design thinking of Eco-Textiles is to extend the life cycle of raw materials and reduce environmental impact, such as recycled polyester from PET bottles.
Endowing PET bottles reproduction value.
It takes more than 500 years for PET bottles to be decomposed. We must recycle and reuse those PET bottles. From recycling PET bottles, PET bottles are collected and compressed into huge bales. Next, bales are broken apart and then remove other materials. Remaining PET is color sorted. Each color streamed and crushed into small flakes. Washing flakes to remove contaminations and then dried, extruded, cooled. Chopped into short pieces called Recycled Polyester Pellets. Melted by heater and extruded by tiny spinnerets pushed out up filaments. Cooled and combined into a single rope called a tow to make Recycled Polyester Fiber. Through heating and stretching. Finally spinning to filaments, and then make all kinds of Eco-Textiles.

How Recycled PET Fabric is Made
In addition to waste utilization, compared with virgin polyester fibers, Recycled Polyester Fiber from PET bottles can reduce energy consumption by about 80%, that is, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 75%. This Recycled Polyester Yarn can produce textiles with superior performance, which has the advantages of light weight, safety, healthy, and resistance to breakage.
